Wooden Duck, 2020.

Pyrography and oil paint on black walnut and hard maple.

This was an extremely fun project that tested my carving skill. I very much enjoy how it turned out and hope the recipient loves it as much as I do.

Update: Unfortunately, this duck was lost in migration. I hope it’s found a lovely new home.
